Castings for Hydro Generators, most important being Pole End Plate. These are very critical castings as because they have to withstand huge centrifugal forces during usage and even a small failure may cause a major damage to the power house.

Sub-Critical Grades:

Consolidated its position on 250 MW Castings. Successfully developed and supplied 500 MW HP Outer (Barrel design), 500 MW IP Outer, 500 IP Inner and 500 HP Inner. 800 MW HP Inner and HP Outer under NTPC inspection. 1000 MW CRV for Export Project. 4 sets of 500 MW Industrial Turbine HP Outer Casings.

Super Critical Grades:

660 MW IP Inner in super critical steel grade. 660 MW HP Inner (in Super Critical grade). 660/800 MW HP and IP Valve casings in super critical grade. 660/800 MW CRVs and MSCVs. Single piece 660 MW MSV-GV casting in super critical grade. Single piece 660 MW RSV-ICV casting in super critical grade. Development of 15.5 MT 800 MW HP Valve casting in material grade GX13CrMoCoVNbNB9-2-1 (Supercritical with Cobalt, for higher temperature and pressure rating)
